Guide Dog Training with MSAR

About 25 members of the Mid-Peninsula Guide Dog Association and 10 of their canine trainees joined us on our regular horse Sunday at NCEFT for mutual training activities. After observing our MSAR training session, the guide dog trainers with their charges gathered in the arena with five of our MSAR horses and riders to acclimate the puppies to horses and the barn environment. During this time we discussed horse behavior and how to approach horses in public venues.
